Shorts!

I made these cute little shorts for the girls on Friday!  Its been hard this weekend to post it.  I used MADE Kid Shorts pattern, making the 2 T a flat front and it being a little snug on my smaller 1 year old.

Top isn’t supposed to match, I was just trying them on.  So the second ones I made 3T but forgot to fold the pattern to make them flat front so they are elastic all the way around.  Of course those are a little roomy on my bigger 1 year old.  Either way they are adorable!

I had a funny problem of the inseams not lining up after sewing the crotch.

This happened with both the 2T and 3T pattern.  They still look cute when finished so I’m not sure what to do about it.  Has anyone else had this experience?

I will definitely be making these again. In fact I have the last of this fabric cut for a flat front 3T.
